Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for the past thirty years. Following her graduation at the Drama Centre London Duff made television appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats during the latter half of the 1990s. The actress first became famous for her role as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her subsequent role. The actress also appeared as the role of Queen Elizabeth I as well as the lead character on From Darkness, a television series that aired in 2015. Duff is famous for her role on the television series Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette. The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that she received the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for her performance in the TV movie The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff was a multi-award-winning English actress.
